This project draws on research supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. It is funded by a Knowledge Synthesis Grant: Evolving Narratives of Cultures and Histories 2024. To fulfill the requirements of this grant we have created the following documents: an Evidence Brief, and a Full Report. Both documents are intended to support policy development relating to the funding of Indigenous language programs, and offer findings from our research. The evidence brief highlights some of the research findings from the full report, especially in consideration of their policy implications. The full report contains more comprehensive discussion of research findings, in addition to methods, results, and implications. These reports do not capture everything that we learned, and we will continue to share our findings in multiple ways, including as content on this website, as a social media campaign, and in other scholarship.
